About

The in-universe survival show ALIEN STAGE has different candidates partaking into singing competitions against one another. Participants are trained throughout their childhood in Anakt Garden before performing on stage after auditions.

ALIEN STAGE has become the most popular show in the universe due to the different program structure. It maintains high commercial success and box office sales, having run for 50 seasons and propelling the investment in pet humans.[1]

The Segyein enjoy witnessing the drama that happens on the stage. Humans in Anakt Garden are not properly taught things like "death" or "life". The performance is the first moment they have contact with what "death" truly is, and the Segyein find their reactions striking and interesting, sometimes even going as far as using them as memes or making parodies.[2]

Winning ALIEN STAGE comes with a variety of benefits: the Guardian whose pet wins enjoys a great amount of wealth and fame, as well as earning additional income from any activities involving their pet. In addition, they are allowed in the 'Utopia', a place where only the top 0.1% of the Segyein live.[2]

Although the show has garnered much praise, it's not without its critics: there are groups who are against the program and think the human rights of pets should be guaranteed. There are petitions calling for the end of ALIEN STAGE with over the 40.000 signatures.[3]

ALIEN STAGE is sponsored by the Anakt Group, which is also affiliated with Anakt Garden.[4]

The stages seen in the show depend on the level of investment made by each Guardian and the contestant's own commercial appeal. Because of that, Till's Round 2 stage is the smallest, while Luka's Round 5 is the biggest.[5] Incidentally, the song to be played at the competition is sent to the participants a week before the performance, and it's allowed to practice or discuss it with the opponent. In Round 2, even though Till received the music sheet in advance, he still sung his own composition.[6]

Each participants' costume is designed by an Anakt Group coordinator, who takes into account both the contestant's characteristics as well as their fans' interest.[a] Till took off his shoes in his round, saying they were too tight.[6]

ALIEN STAGE ended after the ALIEN STAGE Disaster, inspiring a museum with assets from the 50th season and children made from the participants' DNA seven years later.

Notes

Till is seen customizing his own shirt in wiege, so it's not known for sure if the participants really have zero creative input on their costume choice.
